Cabinet Refacing Prices Near Worcester: What Providers Actually Publish

Separate a Shrewsbury provider's published project range, a national retailer's average-kitchen figure and an actual quote. Check size, material and scope before comparing cabinet refacing prices.

A published range needs its size and scope attached.

Seven Pines in Shrewsbury publishes roughly $5,000 to $15,000 across cabinet-refacing projects. Its small-kitchen description places 10 to 15 linear feet toward the lower end, without giving that size a separate dollar range. This is a provider's planning statement, not a verified Worcester market average or a quote for your kitchen.

Seven Pines Home Improvement, ShrewsburyRoughly $5,000 to $15,000 across projects. It places a small kitchen of 10 to 15 linear feet toward the lower end and says projects are priced after an in-home assessment.

The Home Depot, general US service pagePublishes $8,100 to $16,200 for an average-sized kitchen, depending on layout and design choices.

Homestead Cabinet Design, Western Massachusetts pricing guide; separate Worcester service pagePublishes $10,000 to $29,000 across three refacing levels, with $12,000 to $22,000 described as typical. Its lowest level pairs new fronts with painted boxes; higher levels add partial or complete veneer. A separate doors-only guide gives roughly $6,000 to $15,000 as a derived budgeting band, not a price list.

A Worcester-specific offer, a guarantee that every refacing level includes full veneer, or a per-door price. The company says actual quotes depend on measured quantities and selections.

These are dated website statements, not customer invoices or comparable bids. Do not average them, treat either endpoint as a guaranteed minimum, or turn an average-kitchen figure into a small-kitchen quote. Linear feet, door counts and square feet of exposed cabinet surface measure different things; none is interchangeable with kitchen floor area.

Shaker describes the door style, not a complete material specification.

The Home Depot describes Shaker doors made from MDF or solid wood. Seven Pines separately asks customers to choose material, door style, finish and hardware. A quote that only says "white Shaker" therefore leaves important choices unresolved.

Ask for the door core and surface, treatment of visible box faces, drawer-front construction and hardware. Check whether the price covers fronts only or full visible-surface refacing. A door style should not be treated as a separate material tier alongside wood and laminate without those details.

Use the same quantities before comparing totals.

  1. Record the kitchenCount doors and drawer fronts, note exposed ends and islands, and ask each bidder how it measures linear footage.
  2. Match the proposed workKeep material, surface covering, repairs, drawers, hinges, handles, preparation and cleanup consistent.
  3. Mark exclusions and unknownsList countertop work, plumbing, electrical changes, permit questions and damaged boxes separately. Ask how changes are approved and priced.
  4. Request the complete written proposalCompare the agreed scope, total, payment milestones, schedule and warranty. The smallest deposit or headline total does not describe the whole project.
