Lead Quality Standards

What makes a home-service lead valid?

A valid lead should represent a genuine new customer opportunity that fits the buyer's purchased category, approved service area, and agreed lead definition. Avantia documents the account rules before traffic starts so billable and reviewable outcomes are not decided after the fact.

Dispute review matrix

Buyers should know what can be disputed.

Clear invalid reasons keep the account relationship clean. The goal is to decide the rules before traffic starts, not after a buyer is unhappy.

Review window

Invalid lead requests should be submitted with notes and supporting context through dashboard or support. Final handling is controlled by the buyer agreement.

What makes a lead billable?

A billable lead is generally a new potential customer with usable contact information or a connected call, inside the buyer's approved coverage, asking for a service that reasonably matches the purchased category. The signed account terms control the exact standard.

What can make a lead invalid?

A buyer may request review when the inquiry appears not to meet the agreed lead definition. Common review reasons include:

Duplicate inquiry
Wrong number or unreachable contact
Spam, robocall, or solicitation
Employment inquiry
Wrong category
Outside coverage area
No valid contact information
No real service need
Consumer did not request the service

What is not automatically invalid?

A customer who compares prices, declines to book, changes their mind, or does not answer every follow-up attempt is not automatically an invalid lead. Buyer no-answer, slow follow-up, and an unsuccessful sale also do not invalidate an otherwise qualified opportunity unless the account terms specifically say so.

How does a quality review work?

The buyer submits a reason within the account's review window. Avantia can compare the lead record, call metadata, source details, category, geography, duplicate signals, and buyer notes before recording an accepted, denied, credited, or otherwise resolved outcome.

What evidence supports a decision?

Useful evidence can include the original form record, source and consent data, call timestamps and duration, recording access where permitted, routing history, prior matching inquiries, buyer disposition, and the written lead definition for that campaign.
